So sorry for the lack of updates lately, I’ve been superbusy offline – and Rebecca has stayed quiet while taking some time off, and now filming Life – but here is an update at last! I have added pictures from The New York Times Style and Vogue, two magazines Rebecca’s been featured in this past Spring. As always, simply click on the previews below to see them all in our photo gallery.

The first teaser trailer from The Girl on the Train has finally been released! The film – starring Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Alison Janney and more – looks to be very interesting and suspenseful, judging by the trailer. Unfortunately, we don’t see Rebecca very much in the clip, but since the story centers around three women, hopefully her role in the movie will be more substantial. Watch the trailer in our video archive, and see HD screen captures, a new production still & the official poster in our photo gallery.

Rebecca Ferguson is featured in the latest issue of UK movie magazine Total Film, where she talks about Despite the Falling Snow and Florence Foster Jenkins, both in UK cinemas this Spring. It’s a very interesting read, and Rebecca is a delight as usual, so be sure to check out the scans in our photo gallery.

Rebecca’s international breakout role was in the 2013 British mini-series The White Queen, where she played the part of Queen Elizabeth. She received a Golden Globe-nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-series or TV Movie, and got several parts afterwards thanks to the show. The White Queen tells the story of the “War of Roses”, ravaging England in 1464 during a blood feud between the House of York and the House of Lancaster over who is the country’s true king. Young Edward IV, heir to the House of York, is crowned king with help from master manipulator Lord Warwick, known as “The Kingmaker,” who has a plan to control the throne. But that plan comes crashing down when Edward falls in love with Lancastrian commoner Elizabeth Woodville. A violent struggle for the crown ensues between Woodville, adversary Margaret Beaufort and Anne Neville, a pawn in her father’s power game.

I have added well over 100 images; posters, promotional stills, production stills and on-set pictures from the show can now be found in our photo gallery. HD screen captures will be added soon, as well.

Posted on Apr 15, 2016 Despite the Falling Snow

Rebecca Ferguson’s latest film, Despite the Falling Snow, is opening in cinemas across the UK today! The movie, written and directed by Shamim Sarif (based on her own novel), tells the story of the Cold War spy Katya (Rebecca Ferguson), who is assigned to get close to rising politician Alexander (Sam Reid) in order to prise secrets from him. Despite all warnings, the pair fall in love. Thirty years later, Alexander’s niece Lauren (Ferguson) investigates what happened to her missing aunt.

Unfortunately Despite the Falling Snow has received mixed reviews all-around, but Rebecca Ferguson has gotten praise, still, for her starring roles. One critic wrote the following of her performance (also called “excellent”, “the very best thing in the movie”):

“Ferguson does, however, remain the very best thing about this endeavour, equally as believable when taking somebody else for a ride (in 50s Moscow) as she is being taken for a ride herself (90s New York). She’s a distinctly affable performer, and that subtle sense of endearment is essential in forming a bond with Katya, who, effectively, is betraying the protagonist’s trust, and yet we crucially remain on her side.”

Be sure to go and see for yourself, as Despite the Falling Snow is available in UK theaters starting today!

Last night, Rebecca Ferguson walked the red carpet for the World premiere of Florence Foster Jenkins at the Odeon Leicester Square in London, England. She looked cool in her new bangs as she posed for photographers next to co-stars Meryl Streep, Hugh Grant, Simon Helberg and director Stephen Frears. Pictures from the premiere and after party can be found in our photo gallery.

DESPITE THE FALLING SNOW

In Cold War Moscow, a female spy (Rebecca Ferguson) steals secrets from an idealistic politician (Sam Reid) - and falls in love with him.
