Even though Florence Foster Jenkins was just released in the US last month, the film is already available on DVD/Blu-Ray in Europe. We got our copy, which means that HD screen captures can be found in our photo gallery! Rebecca Ferguson stars as Kathleen – the girlfriend of Hugh Grant’s character (who’s also married to Meryl Streep‘s Florence…) – in a small and, unfortunately, under-used role. Nevertheless, Rebecca looks smashing in the costumes, so be sure to check out the captures in the gallery.
Today we’re officially just one month away from the release of The Girl on the Train! And what better way to celebrate than with some new pictures and posters from the film? Rebecca Ferguson stars as Anna, the new wife of the main character, Rachel’s, ex-husband. Directed by Tate Taylor and based on Paula Hawkins best-seller, the movie also stars Emily Blunt, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans, Allison Janney, and many more. The Girl on the Train arrives in theaters on October 7.
According to multiple sources, Rebecca Ferguson has joined the cast of the P.T. Barnum musical film The Greatest Showman, in which Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Zendaya are also set to star. Michael Gracey will direct from a script by Michael Arndt, and Ferguson will star as Swedish opera singer Jenny Lind, who was one of the most highly regarded singers of the 19th century.
The Greatest Showman is an original musical with songs written by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek and is inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum, who created the circus he dubbed “The Greatest Show on Earth.” The biopic focuses on the founder of the well-known traveling Barnum & Bailey Circus. Production is set to begin in the fall, for a Christmas 2017 release.
Such an interesting choice, once again, for Rebecca to play Jenny Lind. We’re already anticipating to see her sing in a musical. There’s no way of predicting what she’ll do next – and we love it!
Today the US audience will finally get a chance to see the critically acclaimed Florence Foster Jenkins in theaters! Starring Meryl Streep in fine form, the movie tells the true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice. Directed by Stephen Frears, Florence also stars Hugh Grant, Simon Helberg and Rebecca Ferguson. It has received great reviews all-around, with the RottenTomatoes score of 89%, and the consensus “Florence Foster Jenkins makes poignant, crowd-pleasing dramedy out of its stranger-than-fiction tale — and does its subject justice with a reliably terrific turn from star Meryl Streep.”
To promote her slate of upcoming movies, Rebecca Ferguson is featured in the pages of Porter magazine’s Fall issue. She’s interviewed by co-star Michael Fassbender, and talks about working on The Snowman, The Girl on the Train, Life and Mission: Impossible. It’s a great read, including Emily Blunt’s stories from The Girl on the Train set, so check out the scans – and editorial outtakes – in our photo gallery. Big thanks to Luciana from Jessica-Chastain.com for providing us with the scans.
So sorry for the lack of updates lately, I’ve been superbusy offline – and Rebecca has stayed quiet while taking some time off, and now filming Life – but here is an update at last! I have added pictures from The New York Times Style and Vogue, two magazines Rebecca’s been featured in this past Spring. As always, simply click on the previews below to see them all in our photo gallery.
